How does it work?

B-THERMIQ products create a thermal shield that reflects heat and radiation. This shield is formed by vacuum microspheres tailored to the dimensions of thermal radiation wavelengths, acting like a labyrinth of mirrors.

With the highest TSR (Total Solar Reflectance) on the market, reflecting 93% of thermal energy and featuring high emissivity, the radiation beam attempting to pass through is reflected multiple times and redirected back, with virtually no energy absorption.

Even in direct contact with other materials, the non-conductive vacuum inside the microspheres prioritizes radiation. All traditional thermal insulation materials (expanded polystyrene, mineral wool, or foams) create thermal resistance only to conduction. This resistance merely delays heat transfer, which will eventually pass through, and also prevents the wall from breathing properly.

With B-THERMIQ® technology, this energy is rejected due to the high reflectivity, emissivity and the vacuum inside the microspheres. That is why, with less than 1 millimetre thickness, it achieves results equivalent to traditional insulation methods.

Reflects radiation

High solar reflectance and emissivity help send thermal energy back before it is absorbed by the surface.

Limits conduction

The non-conductive vacuum inside the microspheres reduces direct heat transfer through the coating layer.

Keeps the surface usable

The system remains thin, elastic, breathable, and suitable for renovation where space and weight matter.

Works below 1 mm

The coating logic is different from bulky insulation: performance comes from reflection, emissivity, and microsphere structure.

Thin layer, broad application

The same core technology is adapted across façade, interior, roof, floor, wood, heritage, and industrial products, with product-specific binders and application conditions.
